We want everyone to enjoy their stay here at Mountain Lake Camping Resort. With that in mind, please read and follow the below guidelines. Any concerns you have with these guidelines or if you have any questions that you cannot find the answers to below, please call the office and a staff member will assist you.

Marijuana and other recreational drugs are illegal in the State of NH and prohibited to be used in or brought onto the park grounds.

Please do not wash RVs, cars, trucks or other vehicles at your space. We are on a well system that requires water to be monitored.

Bicycles are allowed to be ridden on the roads only.  Do not ride through unoccupied sites nor on any landscaping.  Gas-powered boats are not allowed on the lake.  ATV’s, power wheels, electric scooters or bikes, etc are not allowed to be ridden on campground roads.

All Gift Card sales are non-refundable.

You’re coming camping in nature. There are trees, bugs, animals, heat, cold, rain, sun, wind, pollen and a whole host of other natural phenomena that we can’t control. Use your best judgment on what to bring for a pleasurable camping experience. Be prepared and take into account our Cancellation and Change policies as you plan your trip.

Although we’re proud of the place we have created and think everyone will have a great time, we do reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents, injuries or loss of property of any kind. Keep your stuff secure, be aware of your environment, be a good steward of the forest. By making your reservation, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Firewood & Campfires: The ONLY type of firewood we allow into the campground is Certified Kiln Dried Firewood. Even if you purchase wood within the state of NH, it does not make the wood free from invasive bugs that threaten the existence of our beautiful trees at our campground. For that reason alone, we only permit Certified Kiln Dried Firewood. Bringing any other wood into the campground will result in your reservation being canceled without a refund. All the wood that you bring in is checked by our staff. Please bring your receipt showing the purchase of your Certified Kiln Dried Firewood into the office upon check-in. We do sell Certified Kiln Dried Firewood in our camp store.

Fires need to be extinguished by midnight.

We are in an area with many trees and shrubs. Please keep your camp fires low. Bonfire type fires are not permitted at any time in any area of the campground. Fireworks and sparklers are prohibited in the park.

We try to keep our trees healthy and plentiful. Please do not break off branches from trees whether they appear dead or not. We sell fire starters in the store to help you start your fires easily.

Check-In/Check-Out: Please plan your travels accordingly so you’re not disappointed if we can’t accommodate you early or late.

Campsite and Tipi customers are able to check-in between 2 PM and 8 PM. Check-out is 11 AM.

Cabins and Yurt customers are able to check-in between 3 PM and 8 PM. Check-out is 11 AM.

If you would like a late check-out to use our pool, lake or other facilities a little bit longer, please be advised that prior approval from the office and a half-day rate does need to be paid before extended hours are allowed. If no one is checking in on your site, we will be able to let you stay on your site. If someone is checking in on your site, you will have to leave the site/cabin by 11 AM and we will show you where to park for the extra time you are staying here with us and give you an appropriate car tag. Staying past 11:00 AM without office approval and paying the fee is prohibited.

Please leave your cabin and site the way it was upon check in, free of litter inside and outside.  Any extra cleaning with result in a $25 fee that will be charged to your credit card on file.   Cabin, yurt and tipi rentals: A $100.00 hold will be placed on your credit card at the time of check in and will be credited back to your credit card once management has inspected the cabin, yurt or tipi for damages after you check out.

Cancellations and Changes: Cancellations or changes must be made via phone or by signing into your account on our online reservation portal.  If you cancel via phone, you must provide your reservation confirmation number at that time. We do not accept cancellation or changes via email. We cannot give refunds due to weather conditions nor do we refund once you have checked in or for early departure.  Once we are open to receive phone calls which is starting May 1st through October 15th,  and you need to change your current reservation dates or site number, you will be charged the $35 cancellation fee if you use our online portal to cancel and make a new reservation with the new dates or site.

All date or site changes must be made at least 21 days prior to arrival date.   We cannot move your dates to the following year.  Date or site changes made less than a 21 day notice will be subjected to cancellation and loss of full or partial deposit and then a new reservation will need to be made.

Your reservation will be cancelled if you do not arrive on the first night of your reservation date. If you decide to arrive the following day instead, please call the office and let us know ahead of time.

Quiet Hours: Although we think listening to the wildlife, walking around in nature and conversing with fellow campers offers plenty of entertainment, you may want to listen to music or watch an outdoor TV at your site. Please keep in mind that your neighbors may not want to listen in, so keep programming and volume appropriate so that it does not disturb neighboring campers and must be turned off by 10:30 when Quiet Hours begin.

Radios are a bit harder to keep low so we ask that all radios are not played outside.

Our quiet hours are from 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM. Please limit sound and light to your own site during this time. This can be really hard for some individuals who are accustomed to a lot of ambient noise and light in the evening. In all seriousness, you may have to whisper to keep your voice quiet at night. We strictly enforce these hours so all campers can enjoy their stay.

Pets: There is no fee for bringing your pets with you. Our only restricted breed is Pittbull.

Pets are not allowed in or at cabin, yurt or tipi sites. Pets are not allowed in any buildings, at the playground, in the pool area, restrooms or at the beach. Please bring a copy of your pets’ Rabies vaccination papers to show at check-in. Please be advised that Pitt Bulls are not allowed.

Pets must be on a leash at all times while on the site and off. Children under the age of 13 years old are not allowed to walk dogs.

Dogs are not allowed to be left outside alone. Someone needs to be at the site with the pet at all times. Pets are not allowed to be crated and left in a tent nor are they allowed to be locked in an unoccupied vehicle for any length of time.

Please be considerate of other campers as well as those that are renting your site after you by cleaning up after your dog. If you do not clean up after your dog, you will be asked to leave the campground.  A cleaning fee will be charged if dog poop is found on your site after you have check out.  If you do not have any bags to clean up after your dog, please see the office and we will provide you with some.

If you are leaving for the day and not bringing your pet with you, please make sure your pet is inside your camper before you leave and the proper temperature is available for him/her while you are gone.

Please make sure the office has your cell phone number in case we need to reach you due to an emergency. If your pet does not handle being alone well and will bark excessively while you are gone, please do not leave your dog behind.

Your visitors are NOT allowed to bring their pets to the campground.

Visitors: We are focused on the enjoyment of our facility by all of our registered campers. Some of our registered campers would like to have guests come and visit them during their stay. Our goal is to support this without impacting the experience of other campers. Keep in mind that only registered campers can use our facilities. If your friends or family members want to come swimming, join you for dinner or just relax with you for the day, please pre-register them at the office before they arrive.

All visitors MUST be registered by you ahead of time with payment of fees arranged and car passes obtained.  Unregistered visitors will NOT be permitted into the park.  Visitors are NOT allowed to bring pets during their visit.

If your visitor is just stopping by for a quick hello, the visitor fee still applies but will be reimbursed if less than a 20-minute visit. Please ask the office staff for details.
